This project promoted The ACT [link] and ActSmart services at the Independent Business show in Autumn 2015. I worked on the design and art work during my time at Brandtastic [link]. Daniel Campling oversaw the project as the Creative Director whilst I designed the internal spreads and artwork the final print file. This was an exciting project as a Junior Graphic Designer. It allowed me create a piece of brand collateral that would have a direct impact on their B2B strategy.
The ACT are the Association of Cycle Traders, the largest cycle trade organisation in the UK. They have been supporting cycling for over 100 years, moreover they represent the interests of over 4000 businesses involved the cycle industry through promotion, business support and skills development.
ActSmart [link] are the business support organisation for retailers, their supply partners and trade associations. ActSmart has over 5000 subscribers making it one of the fastest growing specialist business support organisations in the UK.
To represent the brand and meet the client’s brief, we used their wide range of vibrant brand colours. The solid colour blocks helped separate out content sections and draw the eye around the booklet. Supporting information graphics were created to support the text.
