Shortly after COVID struck and lockdown began I was briefed on designing a fresh new fintech website. The company, technologi, provides software solutions for large global banks and financial services providers. The aim was to give the brand a more consistent style and visual voice. I started by looking at how the logo was designed and used that as a foundation to create sections and visual elements that reflected the curves and shapes of the brand. As part of the job I also recruited the companies first in-house web developer who did a fantastic job building proposed website.
The target audiences for the website are internal teams, card processing customers and financial technology (fintech) services businesses.
As part of this project I had to re-purpose the complex subject matter and content from the old site. This involved simplifying the language and breaking the lengthy paragraphs in more manageable chunks of information. I also created a unique icon library for the business to use as well as several variants of their product logo. The original logos were raster based, so I set out to create a vector equivalent as well as icon variants.
The desktop website was designed first and then designed and developed for tablet and mobile. WordPress is the CMS, the content is created using custom post types and advanced custom fields. Additional projects for technologi include updated brand creative and a corporate overview.
