During NetPay’s growth with their partnership network, it was identified that their account handlers were missing some crucial documentation about reselling card payments and information on the wholesale partnership scheme. I was therefore briefed by the Managing Director to create a set of documents that communicated these topics. The content was supplied by the Managing Director.
These documents were aimed at drawing new business from partners across many different sectors.
My challenge was to simplify the language used and keep it in plain English. I was also challenged to make the content more digestible and understandable for the readers. Not everybody has knowledge about the card payments industry. Therefore keeping the language simple and jargon free was of the highest priority.
These documents were to be shared via NetPay’s internal sales team. The PDFs would be emailed to new partners and customers. File size was critical and the text had to be readable on mobile devices. Landscape orientation was chosen as it best suited the content being communicated.
